Hi! My name is Andrew MacDonald, a boomer born in 1947. This site is my brainchild (aka devil-spawn). I'm a life coach especially interested in people in transitions . . . of which the 50-plus journey is a biggie. I'm a Certified Mistake Expert and Accredited Blind Alley Explorer and I have numerous invaluable scars to prove both. (You've probably been in some of the same spots I have.) I have some more formal credentials as well.

What do I do in my retirement?

• how do I feel about aging, retiring, not-retiring?
• who do I want to be in this new phase of life?
• do I want to retire or "rewire" myself?
• what would successful retirement look like, my way?
• what do I bring from my past that can help me?
• what mix of work, relationship, leisure and learning do I want?
• how can I best make my hopes and dreams manifest

These questions, and others like them, point to your purpose and passion, the poetry of your life. Of course financial well-being (the prose) is vital too but that isn't the focus of boomersubuttoned.com (though there are wonderful retirement business opportunities - supporting you in living a purpose-filled and passionate "Third Age" is.
